Score 87 out of 100, high tier: tone 96, fluency 93, vocabulary 82, grammar 78, content 88. Under You said, the answer is written out with pinyin over every character and the slips marked in red. Feedback says the answer covers the question and flags 山河湖 and 也常常当地的菜 as slips, with the fixes. Tips suggest 尝尝 for trying food, 山水 for scenery and linking words like 因为/所以. An example answer follows, with pinyin.

Tips suggest naming the food the person is holding, and an example answer follows with its English translation.

How the new HSK exam works

HSK 3.0 replaces the old six levels with nine, in three bands. HSK 1 to 6 each have their own exam, and from HSK 3 up the exam includes speaking. Each level shows its sections with the question counts and times of the official exam, which every mock exam in the app follows. Questions

Are the mock exams really free?

Yes. The six mock exams on this site, with their audio and answer keys, are free and need no account. Exam 1 of every level is also free in the app, where it's timed and scored, with AI grading for speaking and writing.

Why doesn't the website give me a score?

A fair HSK score takes more than counting right answers. Writing and speaking are marked on content, grammar and vocabulary, and speaking also on tones and fluency. That marking happens in the app, with AI grading, so the website just shows you the right answers.

Is this the old HSK or the new HSK 3.0?

The new one. The mock exams follow the HSK 3.0 format for levels 1 to 6, including the speaking section from HSK 3 up.

Can I see pinyin and translations?

Yes. Turn on pinyin for the questions and answer options, and turn on the answer key to see the audio transcript with pinyin and an English translation.

Is HSK Dragon the official exam?

No. HSK Dragon is an independent app, not affiliated with Chinese Testing International (CTI) or the official HSK exam. The mock exams are written to match the official format.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. HSK Dragon is only on Android for now.
